Trustees Meet

At the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Associates on March 8, 1975, a constitution was adopted, an executive committee was appointed, a program committee was formed, and plans were outlined for Associates activities during 1975-76.

Program Committee Plans

The Program Committee of the Board of Trustees met on May 12 to propose and discuss activities and events to be sponsored by the Associates during 1975-1976. Among the suggestions are a series of lectures and seminars on book collecting, a reception to honor donors of important gifts and collections, an American Bicentennial seminar and exhibition of related manuscripts, a special musical performance, several lectures and readings by contemporary authors and poets and an annual banquet for Associates. As soon as plans are completed with definite dates and places, an invitation for each event will be sent to each Associate.
