Gerard Manley Hopkins--A Portrait

The Lauinger Library is the proud owner of a portrait of the English Jesuit poet, Gerard Manley Hopkins, donated by Joseph and Betty Taney of Potomac, Maryland. Entitled "Inscape," the painting measures 35" x 48", and is the work of artist Joan Caryl of Washington, D.C. It hangs in the front lounge area on the library's fifth floor.
