Congressional Research Service Reports

More than a thousand Library of Congress LRS/CRS Major Studies and Issue Briefs (1916-1979) have been presented to the library by an alumnus and Library Associates Trustee, John Moscato ('73 AB), founder and president of University Publications of America. These reports were prepared by LRS/CRS to provide analytical and factual information for use by members of Congress and Congressional Committees in the development and consideration of legislation on a wide range of topics during the past sixty years. University Publications of America microfilmed these reports so that students, faculty, and researchers will have direct access to this important information.
