National Security and Intelligence

The Georgetown curriculum offers many courses and seminars related to national security and international intelligence. Students and faculty in these courses and seminars need a wide range of pertinent books and documents for study and research. The library is actively engaged in obtaining such material and would like to acquire more from Associates and other appropriate sources. The largest such collection in the library is the Russell J. Bowen collection on Intelligence, Security, and Covert Activities. The Bowen Collection has more than four thousand books and documents from the United States, England, France, Germany, Japan, USSR and other countries.

Associates can assist the growth and development of the national security and intelligence collections by contributing appropriate books and documents.
