Annual Report

The Associates Board of Trustees met on May 16, 1981, for the seventh annual meeting. The following officers were elected for another term of two years: Chairman John W. Snyder, Vice Chairman John S. Mayfield, and Executive Secretary Joseph E. Jeffs. Program committee and nominating committee members were reappointed for another term. Mr. Jeffs reported that more than six hundred Associates contributed $30,800 to the library during the past year. Members of the Class of 1930 made a Golden Jubilee Reunion gift of $35,000 and the Georgetown Parents Fund made another substantial annual gift to the library. Several hundred donors made gifts of books, manuscripts, documents, journals, films, and other useful material.
