University Publications of America

Associates trustee John Moscato, '73 AB, who is the founder and president of University Publications of America, continues to be a most generous benefactor of the library. His recent gifts of many important research resources include UPA microfilm publications of the war messages of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the confidential files of President Truman pertaining to the Potsdam Conference, minutes of President Eisenhower's cabinet meetings, the press files of President Kennedy, the daily diary of Lyndon Johnson and minutes of his cabinet meetings, records of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (1942-53), and several thousand OSS/State Department Intelligence and Research Reports. He also gave a published collection of reports and documents from General George C. Marshall's mission to China (1945-47), a documentary history of diplomatic relations between the United States and Iran, and many other UPA books on international events.
