Appreciation

The Library Associates Newsletter will miss the editorial skills and attention of Carol LeClair, who retired from the library on June 30th after 25 years of service to the University. Besides the sure touch with which she handled the production of this newsletter, Carol always displayed an inexhaustible patience in soliciting, prodding, and nagging contributions from the rest of us, as well as a gentle but firm conviction that we ought to write in readable English. Carol, we will truly miss you!

New Times, New Look

Commencing with this issue, the Library Assocaites Newsletter will be appearing four times a year, in August, November, February, and May. We hope that this change will give you not only more timely news of what's happening in the library, but also enable you to plan on attending upcoming events. The new look of this newsletter reflects the skills of Laurie L. England, Associates member and graphic designer.
