The Associates Win Award

Georgetown's Library Associates won the Friends of Libraries U.S.A. (FOLUSA)/Baker and Taylor Award this year for Outstanding Friends of the Library Program, in the academic library category. University Librarian Susan K. Martin accepted the certificate and check for $1000 at the 22nd annual FOLUSA Author Luncheon in San Francisco this summer. The money will be used to enhance the Library Associates website. FOLUSA is a nationwide membership organization of over two thousand local Friends groups.
