Food for Fines

Lauinger and Blommer Science Libraries held their annual Food for Fines drive in April. Faculty, student and staff borrowers were able to bring in one non-perishable food item in exchange for having one dollar of an existing fine waived. All food was donated to Bread for the City, a non-profit organization which specializes in providing assistance to needy single parent families in the DC area.
