GEORGE, the online catalog of the main campus libraries, now includes the records from the catalog of the University Medical Center's Dahlgren Memorial Library (GEORGEmed)-an addition of more than 127,000 books, journals, and non-print volumes; 2,900 multimedia and microcomputer software titles; and 800 active journal subscriptions in the biomedical sciences. Finding materials in interdisciplinary scientific subjects will be greatly simplified by searching the new combined catalog, still called GEORGE. One search in the new GEORGE will access records for the holdings of several libraries: Blommer Science Library; Dahlgren Memorial Library; Lauinger Library; National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature; and Woodstock Theological Center Library.
