Gallery Talk

Roderick S. Quiroz, art collector and friend of the artist Aline Fruhauf, gave a gallery talk on a recent exhibit of her work in Lauinger's Fairchild Gallery in May. The exhibit featured fifteen encaustic paintings of Washington-area musical figures of the 1950s including the late Paul Hume, and nine caricatures in woodcut and lithograph of prominent composers and others.

The exhibit was made possible by generous donations from the artist's husband, Erwin Vollmer, and by Mr. Quiroz.
