Library Associates cosponsored, with the Program in Performing
Arts, the first in the Fall Friday Music Series programs
in September. Vocalist Sunny Wilkinson performed music
of George and Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Antonio
Carlos Jobim. The concert was followed by a screening
of Georgetown University’s Jazz Film Series feature:
Lady Day: The Many Faces of Billie Holiday.
Sunny
Wilkinson performs at jazz festivals and clubs across
the country, and teaches jazz voice at Western Michigan
University and Michigan State University. More about
