The Library is excited to announce that you will now be able to read, download and bookmark many acaedmic journals on your tablet using Browzine. Browzine is an app that allows you to access more than 14,000 of the scholarly journals Georgetown provides from your iPad, Android tablet or Kindle Fire. Log in with your Georgetown NetID and you’ll be able to browse by title or topic to find journals of interest. Once you’ve found one you like, you can save it to your “bookshelf” for easy access. When new issues of your saved journals come out, you’ll receive a notification.
You can also save individual articles, which will download to your device for offline access. In addition, you can email articles, share them on social media or export them to a variety of other programs.
To get started using Browzine, go to the App Store (iPad), Google Play (Android tablet) or Amazon (Kindle) and download the app for free. Once it has downloaded, enter your NetID and password and start browsing!
