The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) is a national voluntary service organization whose mission is to serve its member institutions: the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States.

Association of Research Libraries (ARL) counts Georgetown University Library among its 125 research libraries in North America. The Association operates as a forum for the exchange of ideas and as an agent for collective action.

Catholic Research Resources Alliance (CRRA) is a collaborative effort initiated by eight Catholic colleges and universities to share their resources electronically with librarians, archivists, researchers, scholars, and the general public, all who are interested in the Catholic experience.

The Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) partners with the Library for workshops, tutorials, new media applications, and the Gelardin New Media Center on the first floor of Lauinger Library.

The Georgetown University Press and the Georgetown University Library are partnering to make full-text materials available online.

The Georgetown University Writing Center, housed on the second floor of Lauinger Library, is a free writing source open to all Georgetown students..

Lauinger Library has been a Federal Depository Library since 1969. This federal program, administered by the Government Printing Office, allows libraries to obtain federal government publications while agreeing to maintain the collection and provide public access and information services.

Georgetown University-Library of Congress Connection streamlines access to LC's collections and services for Georgetown University's faculty and students, serving as a supplement to the Library's resources.

The Midnight Mug, run by Students of Georgetown, Inc. (The Corp), offers coffee, snacks and community on the 2nd floor of Lauinger Library.

NorthEast Research Libraries (NERL) comprises 27 academic research libraries, including Georgetown University Library, with the common objectives of access and cost containment, joint licensing, and possible joint deployment of electronic resources.
