The Islamic & Middle Eastern Studies Bibliographer selects for and develops those collections and provides reference assistance for materials which treat the Middle East (the Arab world, Iran, Israel, and Turkey) and the Islamic world, in addition to acquisitions and cataloging responsibilities for materials in Arabic and Turkish.  She also acts as the primary contact  for the library at the McGhee Center for East Mediterranean Studies in Alanya Turkey.  In addition, she is the Library's liaison to the African Studies and Central Asian Studies programs.

He also selects for the Master's program in Culture, Communication, and Technology as well as anthropology and African studies. He is faculty liaison for the above areas on campus.

In addition, he also selects for and develops the collection relating to the academic programs in linguistics as well as ESL. He provides reference assistance for materials which treat the above academic disciplines, in addition to acquisitions and cataloging responsibilities for East Asian languages. He is the faculty liaison for the above academic areas on campus.
