John Digges, Jr. (ca. 1712[Maryland?]-1746 in Baltimore). Father was a large landowner; one of his brothers was a Dudley Digges. Only known location was St. Joseph's Mission, Deer Creek, Harford Co., Maryland. None of these MSS bear Digges's name, and have been identified by handwriting comparisons with documents in Provincial Archives. They probably came into the hands of Baltimore Abp Leonard Neale (d. Georgetown, 18 June 1817), and thence to Georgetown. One is bound in an 1815 Baltimore newspaper.
