Black scarf, dated 10/2/35 declares Italian unity against the sanctions of the League of Nations levied against Italy for its invasion of Ethiopia (formerly Abyssinia). Blue scarf, dated 5/9/36, bears Mussolini's declaration of the "Italian Empire" on the conquering of Ethiopia.
