DESCRIPTION: This folder contains information concerning the Charles Quest Gallery (also known as the Lewis and Clark room) at the St. Louis Club. Quest's oil paintings of St. Louis scenes were hung in the Gallery in 1967, the Quest Gallery was first dedicated in 1969, and rededicated in 1982. Included in this folder are news clippings, programs, handwritten notes by Dorothy Quest, photographs of the gallery and details of the rededication ceremony. Quest's works in the gallery include historical scenes (oils) and preparatory drawings for his mural "Louisiana Purchase."
