DESCRIPTION: This is a diary or journal kept by Hogan during summer vacation travels to the Continent from Cambridge. He went to Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy. Enclosed are many bits of memorabilia--ticket stubs, receipts, city maps, Italian visa, etc., some from an apparent 1927 trip to Italy.

DESCRIPTION: Bound diary written during time Hogan was a student in England and travelling during the summer on the Continent. Includes many pasted-in photos that he has clipped--none made by him. Includes items of memorabilia such as ticket stubs. This is a fairly good traveller's diary; he had some eye for material of interest.

DESCRIPTION: The Westminster Abbey lecture is in a bound vol. that seems to have been lifted from the Catholic Truth Society in London. Also in the folder are a series of notes for a slide lecture on Edmund Campion, and what appear to be the printed basis of the slides lecture notes seen in another folder for a lecture on the Tower of London.

DESCRIPTION: Snapshots--all unidentified--probably of Hogan, his family, and William F. Yates. The ca. 1898 photo of a boy is good. Excellent and interesting photo of a tour group at San Souci (Potsdam), 1926.
