DESCRIPTION: Typed manuscript of H.St.J.B. Philby's "Arabia"(1930) with Philby's printed ownership stamp on front board. Mostly carbon pages, bound in blackbinder with some chapter numbers are inserted in Philby's hand.

DESCRIPTION: Typed manuscript of H.St.J.B. Philby's "Arabia" (1930) composed of both carbon and original typed pages by Philby. The manuscript has extensive hand notations and corrections by Philby and two additional editors. Two pages are stamped by the book's printer, Ricard Clay & Sons Limited, Bungay, Suffolk, with Philby's printed ownership stamp on the front board.

1925-1930

DESCRIPTION: Bound set of galley proofs for H.St.J.B. Philby's "Arabia" with pages numbered i-xiii and 1-115. There are textual corrections on almost every page by Philby and a full page autograph manuscript addition to be inserted on page 12, with Philby's printed ownership stamp.

DESCRIPTION: Bound set of Arabia galley proofs extensively corrected by Philby, stamped four times by Richard Clay & Sons Limited. At the end of the proofs is a typed and autographed index and chart "Genealogy of the House of Sa'ud" created by Philby, with Philby's ownership stamp.
