Includes printed description of the history of the construction of the railroad, as well as an extract of a letter (4/25/1915) from George Goethals, as governor of the Canal Zone, to D. DeBarrows, vice president of the Isthmian Canal Souvenir Co., concerning the taking of souvenir samples of soil from the Culebra Cut. Also included is an invoice for delivery of 500 similar ties from the Isthmian Canal Souvenir Co. to the Isthmian Canal Commission.
