Description: Bound copy of "George Washington's Farewell Address to the People
of the United States" with Brien McMahon's name inscribed on the cover.
According to congressional custom, Brien McMahon and a congressman were chosen
to read the address in their perspective houses of Congress and were then given
bound copies of the address.
