William Shakespeare's 450th Birthday at Reunion

Celebrate William Shakespeare's 450th birthday with the Library Associates and the Department of Performing Arts at Reunion Weekend.

Much Ado About Something
Georgetown Shakespeare expert Dr. Michael J. Collins will explore the history and lasting influence of Shakespeare’s plays with Michael Benz, Globe Theatre actor and guest star on Downtown Abbey, and Dr. Kristine Johanson (F'04), University of Amsterdam Renaissance scholar. Co-sponsored by the Davis Center for the Performing Arts.
Join us after the panel to continue the celebration of the Bard's 450th birthday as we share and discuss the rare Shakespearean treasures owned by the Georgetown University Library’s Special Collections Research Center. Enjoy drinks and refreshments while examining the historical artifacts that shape our perception and understanding of Shakespeare's world, work and continued legacy. Sponsored by the Georgetown University Library Associates.
