April is National Poetry Month. To celebrate, Blommer Science Library invites students to enter the Science Haiku Contest.
Entering is easy! Just write a science-themed haiku and submit your poem using a paper entry form (available for pick up and return in Blommer). Contest entries must be received by April 24. Contest entries will be displayed anonymously in Blommer. Check them out throughout the month of April.
Blommer librarians will select the winning haiku based on creativity, use of science motifs, and correct form. The writer of the winning haiku will receive our grand prize, a Sci-Fi Magnetic Poetry Kit. Plus, the winning haiku will be prominently featured in Blommer.
