3D Printing and Modeling with TinkerCAD

Maker Hub

In this hands-on workshops, we'll cover everything you need to know to conceptualize, download, design, and print objects on the Maker Hubs 3D printers. Topics to be convered include: Using thingiverse.com to find models to print; modifying models and creating new designs using TinkerCAD; and printing models on the Ultimaker, MakerBot, and Taz 6 3D printers. To get the most out of these workshops, participants should bring their own laptops, set up accounts on http://thingiverse.com and http://tinkercad.com, and (optionally) install Blender (http://blender.org) in advance of the workshop. Register for this workshop.

We'll be weaving on the loom, coloring in coloring books, knitting, escaping into VR, and tearing apart old electronics. Registration is preferred, but also feel free to drop in and out as the mood strikes. Register for this workshop.
