A powerful audio editing and mixing application part of Apple iLife suite. Our recommended software for simple audio recording and editing projects, such as for radio-style programs.

Pros:

• Quick and easy to do multiple-track audio editing.
• Files can be shared with other applications in within the iLife suite
• Intuitive interface, ideal for beginners.
• MIDI interface support
• Access to Apple loops and sound effects

Cons:

• Not as many export/encoding options as Soundtrack Pro.
• Limited tools for cleaning up audio.
