Support for student projects that enhance your curriculum
Digital media projects give students the opportunity to express themselves in innovative ways that that are both creative and engaging. New media assignments will also strengthen much-needed and much-overlooked digital literacy skills, but not at the expense of writing and research skills. The Multimedia Specialists of the Gelardin New Media Center provide multimedia instruction designed to introduce students to the multimedia software, video and audio equipment, and process of creating a project in alternative media. We also help faculty assess the projects by providing detailed rubrics and work with librarians to incorporate research instruction as well. Schedule time to speak with our Multimedia Instruction Coordinator or Department Head.

Flipped classroom
Considering flipping portions of your course? We have production spaces, editing rooms and a plethora of equipment and instruction to get you going. Learn to edit your Echo360 recordings by watching lynda.com iMovie tutorials or meeting with our staff.

Showcase your Innovative Projects!

We would love to collect your students' work for the Gelardin Showcase! Your students can fill out the form here to submit their projects.
