The Georgetown University community has always reached for books for knowledge and information, pleasure and comfort, friendship and advice. Now, we invite you to support the Georgetown University Library by becoming a Books Forever donor. The Library relies on generosity for the health of its collections. Your gift to the Books Forever Endowment Fund will help provide the Library with a stable source of funds with which to continue expanding its book collection.
A gift that lasts forever: Your gift of $1,789 (in recognition of the year Georgetown was founded) or more will be added to the Books Forever Fund, and will generate enough interest income to purchase a book a year for the Library's general collections. To mark that purchase, each year the Library will place a bookplate bearing your name (and, if you choose, the name of the person you are honoring or memorializing) in a book in its collection. In addition, your name (and your honoree's name) will appear in the book's electronic listing on GEORGE, the Library's online catalog. As a Books Forever donor, you will also receive benefits such as a subscription to the Library's newsletter and invitations to special events for one year.
