Campaign for the Library

The Georgetown University Library is a home for all Georgetown students during their time on the Hilltop and a place for alumni to go for lifelong learning. The Library supports scholarship in all disciplines across the University and provides crucial spaces, services and resources for learning. In many ways, the Library is at the heart of the Georgetown experience.

Our work is supported in part by alumni, parents and friends who generously share their time and resources with the Library. These gifts allow the Library to continue to provide excellent resources and services to the Georgetown family and pursue opportunities to transform the way our students and faculty work. Watch the video below to learn more about the role the Library plays at Georgetown and then join us!

Focus on the Finish

For Generations to Come: The Campaign for Georgetown ends in 2016. The Library's priorities as we Focus on the Finish are:

People & Programs

Collections & Resources

Space Modernization & Revitalization

Innovation & Invention

Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated and provide vital support to the Library. If you are interested in making a gift or learning more about the Library’s gift opportunities, please contact Miriam Nickerson, the Director of Development, at or 202-687-2850.
