This federal program, administered by the Government Printing Office, allows libraries to obtain federal government publications while agreeing to maintain the collection and provide public access and information services. Check the library use policies and hours for information on physical access in the library. Persons with disabilities can make arrangements to use equipment through the Academic Resources Center.

Besides housing and maintaining a collection of depository library items, Lauinger Library subscribes to databases that specialize in historical government documents, such as Hein Online and ProQuest Congressional.

For assistance with finding government documents, please contact Mara Rojeski, at or (202) 687-2822.

Depository print publications are found on the second floor of Lauinger Library. Depository CD's or DVD's with a GEORGE location of 'LAU Reserves' are shelved in cabinets at the 3rd floor Circulation Desk and circulate for 3 days.
