We are currently installing new doors in the stairwell in Lauinger Library. During this time, visitors will not be able to use landings that are under construction, either to enter that floor or pass through en route to another. We encourage visitors to use the elevators, although the stairwell may still be used to access floors that are not under construction. Landings under construction should only be used in the case of an emergency.
When was the last time you walked through the Lauinger lobby and wondered what that room off to the side was for? That’s the Millennium Room and it is now a technology-enhanced group study room! Equipped with a 50” wide-screen monitor ready to be plugged into any laptop, it is an ideal room for holding group discussions, preparing presentations and sharing your work. And best of all, it’s part of our online room booking system, making it even easier to use. Reserve it now at library.georgetown.edu/rooms and get started!
Many thanks to the donors who helped make the Millennium Room possible!
