Article and Book Search Goes Mobile at the Library

Georgetown students, faculty and researchers rely more and more on mobile wireless devices to access information. In a highly connected and mobile world the cell phone, iPod or similar device enables information access on the go. Publishers of many scholarly journals and databases are responding to this new world of information-seeking by creating mobile applications that properly format their web data on small screens. The Library is pleased to announce that you can now get Mobile Access to Library Resources (EBSCO, IEEE Xplore, Google Books, RefWorks, WorldCat and Safari Books) from the Library’s website. Click the relevant links to be redirected to the publisher’s mobile website, or to iTunes to download the iPhone application. You can find the mobile resources links for “Mobile-Enabled Databases” and “iPhone-Enabled Databases” on the library Library’s Articles & Databases page, or when you browse specific Library resources by subject or database name.
