We are currently installing new doors in the stairwell in Lauinger Library. During this time, visitors will not be able to use landings that are under construction, either to enter that floor or pass through en route to another. We encourage visitors to use the elevators, although the stairwell may still be used to access floors that are not under construction. Landings under construction should only be used in the case of an emergency.

Soviet City Plans

A new e-resource is available from the Library—EastView Soviet City Plans. View Soviet-created topographic maps covering 27 cities of interest in Eastern Europe, Russia, and former Soviet Union countries. These maps are a combination of topographic city plans at 1:10,000/1:25,000 scale, and topographic maps at 1:50,000 scale. The maps were all published between 1965 and 1991 by Voenno-topograficheskoe upravlenie General'nogo shtaba.
