Paper copies may be made from microfilm, microfiche and microcards on self-service machines in Government Documents and Microforms on the first floor of Lauinger Library. You may also scan microform documents for free and email them or save them to an external drive. All microform copying machines require a GOCard or a guest print/photocopy card to print copies. Copies are 10 cents per page. Users unaffiliated with Georgetown must purchase a guest print/photocopy card in order to print. Guest print cards can be purchased at two Lauinger Library Deposit Stations, located in the third-floor lobby area and the Gelardin New Media Center (first floor). The closest Deposit Station to Blommer is located in the Leavey Center. The guest card itself costs $1. Values of $1, $5, $10 and $20 can be added to guest cards and to GOCards at the Deposit Stations.

Copyright Restrictions:
The Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the Law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproductions. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction not be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of that order would involve violation of the law.
