Acidemic: Journal of Film & Media

Acidemic's goal is to bridge the gap between high and low film, to make theory accessible to the non-masters student, to reveal art where the average man finds trash and vice versa. To be against everything pat and dogmatic and for the deranged and far-ranging. The name Acidemic comes from the meaning of acid as determined by Aldous Huxley in The Doors of Perception, as the window cleaner to show the infinite that the webs of illusion we call reality delimits. .. or something.
