>From 2004, Acta Agriculturæ Scandinavica publishes a third title - "Food
Economics" (C) to add to the current sections "Animal Science" (A) and "Soil
and Plant Science" (B).
This new international journal will provide a forum stimulating the creation
and dissemination of new applied knowledge in the area of food economics.
Practitioners and researchers in industry, academia, and government will
find research results, new ideas, new applications of knowledge, and
discussions of important topics that can help them enhance the efficiency
and effectiveness of the worldwide food and agribusiness system.
Acta Agriculturæ Scandinavica is published on behalf of The Nordic
Association of Agricultural Scientists (NJF).
The scope of the journal will cover a broad spectrum of primarily empirical
and applied research in food economics:
* resource and agribusiness economics and management
* food quality and safety
* food supply chains
* consumer behaviour and preferences
* agricultural and food policies
* environmental management and policies
