Acta Universitatis Wratislaviensis. Literatura i kultura popularna was
established in 1991 as a result of the cooperation of literature and
popular culture

researchers based out of many academic centers in Poland. It is the
first and oldest journal of its kind in Poland, which is engaged in
scientific analysis of

the under-appreciated, yet ubiquitous, fast-growing, multi-faceted and
very interesting literature and popular culture.

The journal primarily aims to: develop a wide-ranging study of
international literature and popular culture; promote the exchange of
scientific ideas between

researchers, the dissemination of knowledge on around the "cultural
products" of the modern world, their roots, tradition, evolution and
potential

development in Poland.

The journal is published annually and accepts articles from Polish and
foreign scholars and researchers written on different aspects and
phenomena of

literature and popular culture of Polish and world: role-playing games
(RPGs), genre films, each species, authors and themes of popular
literature, literary

adaptations, film translations into languages other arts, arts
borderline species such as comic liternet. We are interested in the
work of discussing issues

of definition, genologiczne, circuits literature, market
characteristics, specific audience, sociology and psychology reception
etc.
