Advances in Physiotherapy

Editor-in-Chief: Madeleine Abrandt Dahlgren, Sweden

Publication Details:
Volume 4, 2002, 4 issues per year
ISSN 1403-8196

A new international journal covering all aspects of
physiotherapy, but which aims to place the physiotherapist
at the core of a scientific debate which will discuss the
identity and legitimacy of the profession and discipline
within a broad health care context.

The goal of Advances in Physiotherapy is to maintain a
broad and interdisciplinary approach in order to reflect
the actual collaboration between physiotherapists and
practitioners and scholars from other disciplines. The
Editors believe that this approach will give a holistic
understanding of the discipline, which, in turn, will
provide the opportunity to discern the unique qualities and
contributions of physiotherapy. All papers will be peer-

International researchers in physiotherapy and related
disciplines such as economics, sociology and psychology.
