Akron Law Review

The Akron Law Review is a student organization of the University of Akron
School of Law. Its board of student editors publish four printed issues
per year. The Law Review was established in 1967 when the law school
instituted a full time program of classes in addition to the existing
part-time evening program. Those first few student editors who pioneered
the Review were dedicated to the ideals of frank open discussion of legal
issues. In the words of Dean Stanley A. Samad, the Law Review was founded
"to provide a medium through which legal scholars, and scholars in related
fields, can make their research available to the courts, the bar, students
of the law and the public." Now, almost thirty years later, the present
student editors have renewed this commitment to public access to legal
materials, and establish this website to further facilitate legal
discourse and education.

A number of online issue are available in full-text.
