Al-Hewar Magazine and The Arab-American Dialogue are the voice of Arab
community in the United States. Featuring well-written and insightful
articles exploring American and Arab politics, culture and religion

The Arab American Dialogue (English)
AL-HEWAR CENTER: The Al-Hewar Center was established in December 1994 in
Vienna, Virginia (in Metropolitan Washington, D.C.) as an independent
forum for dialogue among the various members of the Arab American
community. The Center hosts events (at least once a week) on a variety of
topics. Each presentation is followed by an open, respectful discussion
among the members of the audience. The goals of the Center include:
(1) finding common ground among the members of the Arab American
(2) bringing about greater mutual understanding between the Arab
community and American society at large.
AL-HEWAR MAGAZINE AND THE ARAB-AMERICAN DIALOGUE: Al-Hewar Magazine and
The Arab-American Dialogue are magazines for the Arab community, as well
as others with an interest in the Arab World and its culture and politics.
Both magazines are designed to be a forum for dialogue among the various
members of the Arab-American community. Al-Hewar Magazine is published in
Arabic and features, among other things, transcripts of speeches given at
the Al-Hewar Center. The Arab-American Dialogue is in English and features
articles following events and trends in the Arab American community and in
the Middle East.
