Journal of the American Society of Hypertension

American Journal of Hypertension is the official journal of the American
Society of Hypertension and provides a forum for scientists,
practitioners, and other health professionals concerned with clinical and
experimental hypertension. Because of the multidisciplinary nature of the
field and the variety of biological mechanisms underlying hypertension,
the American Journal of Hypertension covers many disciplines related to
hypertension, including cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology,
epidemiology, molecular biology, and neurophysiology. The journal offers
original research articles, review articles, case reports, letters to the
editor, short communications and abstracts of the annual ASH Scientific
Meeting. Another feature of the journal is a section of reports on issues
of public policy, such as new treatment strategies, FDA clinical trials
and other issues of immediate interest, through periodic policy statements
of the Society.
