American Journal of Philology

The American Journal of Philology has helped to shape American classical
scholarship. Today the Journal has achieved worldwide recognition as a forum
for international exchange among classicists and philologists. In addition
to publishing traditional philology, AJP features articles about literary
interpretation and history, textual criticism, historical investigation,
epigraphy, religion, linguistics, and philosophy. In recent years, AJP has
been open to a much wider variety of contemporary approaches than was true
in the past.
