American Scientist

This online version of the pring magazine of the same name is published by
Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society. The print version started in
1913. Some articles included are full-text and are accompanied by
illustrations, but most are provided simply as abstracts. Some articles
appearing in the January-February 1997 online issue include: "A History
of the Mesosiderite Asteroid", "The Nanchoc Tradition: The Beginnings of
Andean Civilization", and "Snow Load on Buildings (Full-Text)".

Also included with each issue are a number of full-text book reviews of
scientific books.
