Publisher: Friends of the Coptic Museum

It has been the trend in recent years to involve the civil society
hand in hand with the government in various sectors. Hence, the
Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA) encouraged a group of
intellectuals to establish a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) under
the name of “Friends of the Coptic Museum” (FCM).

We are committed “To work in the field of cultural and scientific
services and to assist the management of the museum raising global
awareness and bringing the Coptic heritage into the light."

In particular, the activities of the newly born association would
assist the management of the Museum in displaying guided-signs and
publicize the masterpieces inside and outside the Museum.

The newsletter details the group's activities in supporting cultural
activities and and other actions that may benefit the Museum
