The Australian Network for Art and Technology (ANAT) is an organisation
that "advocates for the cultural and critical environments that support
the field of art, science and technology. It undertakes a wide range of
activities including training programs, publication, funding of artists'
projects, and conference organisation, and is principally funded by the
Australia Council, the Australian Federal Government's arts funding and
advisory body".

The newsletter is published online at irregular intervals, every two to
four months, and the earliest issue available dates back to June 1995. As
well as information and recent developments involving ANAT itself, the
newsletter includes articles relating to developments in art and
technology and recent conferences dealing with these fields worldwide. A
calender of upcoming events is also included as well as a section on job
