Archives of General Psychiatry

The psychiatry journal most frequently cited in scientific literature.
Many of its peer-reviewed, original articles deal with the biological
origin of mental disorders and pharmaceutical therapy. Long-term,
multicenter studies and an emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of
illnesses encountered in the clinical setting are Archives hallmarks.
Features such as 'Perspectives' help clinicians distill complex studies,
and 'News and Views' present recent developments that may significantly
impact psychiatric practice.

Abstracts of original articles are provided as well as the full text for
selected articles. Past issues dating back to July 1995 are also available
and a link to the Journal of the American Medical Association search page
is provided making it possible to search these abstracts by author,
subject, or title of article.
