Astronomische Nachrichten

ISSN: 1521-3994

Astronomische Nachrichten, founded in 1821 by H.C. Schumacher, is the oldest
astronomical journal worldwide still being published. Famous astronomical
discoveries and important papers on astronomy and astrophysics published in
more than 300 volumes of the journal give an outstanding representation of
the progress of astronomical research over the last 170 years.

Today, Astronomische Nachrichten continues to publish original manuscripts
on all fields of astronomy and astrophysics and review papers on special and
current topics. The journal covers a wide range of issues reaching from
cosmology, extragalactic research, cosmic hydrodynamics, stellar physics,
interstellar matter, solar and planetary physics to geodetic astronomy.

Available by subscription only.
