The Australian Net Guide
This is the online version of The Australian Net Guide, a monthly
magazine published in Australia by Cyber Publications, a subsidiary of
OzEmail Pty Ltd.
The Australian Net Guide aims to serve Australian users of the
Internet by providing the best possible information about the Internet.
The magazine is made up of sections:
There is a news and reviews section. Following this are a series of
columns about important issues on the Internet. Then there are a five or
more major articles or features that focus on key issues for Internet
users. The navigation section carries a series of tutorials that focus on
Internet technologies. Then there are guides that list places of interest
online with brief descriptions for each. Finally there is a list of new
Australian sites, some book reviews and a list of events of interest to
This online site carries most of the material from the monthly
magazine, but it also has a section that is updated daily. This section
carries news about the Internet with a slant towards Australian news. It
also carries a series of briefs about general computer news from the
faxed daily newsletter, Computer Daily News.
Also in the Daily section you will find regular features that tie
topics in the news into sites on the Internet.
