Distributed Information Systems is an international journal serving the
large community of researchers and practitioners dealing with the theory and
practice of large-scale data and information architectures implemented over
parallel and/or distributed infrastructures such as the INTERNET, Network
Clusters, a Network of Sensors.
The journal welcomes papers covering Database Management Systems,
Distributed Systems, Distributed Information Retrieval, Data Mining, and
application of Signal and Image Processing for Data and Information
Distributed Information Systems publishes two types of issues: regular
issues and special issues. Regular issues publish unsolicited submissions.
Special issues feature targeted topics of interest contributed by authors
responding to a particular Call for Papers or by invitation, edited by
invited Guest Editor(s).
