Environmental Progress

Environmental Progress

Publisher: Wiley on behalf of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers

Environmental Progress, a quarterly publication of the American Institute of
Chemical Engineers, reports technological advances vital to engineering
professionals whose responsibility includes or is related to environmental
issues. It also covers such critical issues as abatement, control,
containment of effluents and emissions and various environmental compliance

Environmental Progress publishes papers on all aspects of environmental
concern, with emphasis on system design and engineering solutions to
environmental problems. Journal content is directed toward Chemical
Engineers with environmental management, regulatory response, and/or
instructional responsibilities.

Reflecting professional concerns, the journal emphasizes waste minimization,
sustainability, pollution prevention, "green" design and operation, and
integrated management of environmental and health and safety issues.

Papers dealing with problems, controls and solutions associated with air,
soil and water pollution reduction, solid and hazardous waste management,
and resource conservation (including recycle and reuse) are of primary
interest. Research papers on fate-and-effect interactions, life cycle
effects, global impacts, innovative waste treatment, remediation, and
regulatory interfaces also are extremely desirable.
